Comtech Xicom now offers dual and multiple sub-band Ka-band block upconverters (BUCs) even in our smallest package. These rugged, full-featured, 5 lb (2.25 kg) Bobcat 32Ka BUCs provide impressive power density and high performance with 16W of linear power that mounts direct to the feed for transportable and lightweight VSAT terminals as well as land and maritime mobile systems. Important capabilities and options include WGS-compatibility, Open BMIP and Keyline operation.

Xicom has developed and DO-160 certified the new Falcon 50Ka, a high-performing ARINC 791 Ka-band SSPA/BUC providing 25W linear power for in-flight connectivity in the same package as our 20W linear Falcon 40Ka. With thousands of Ku-band commercial aviation SSPA/BUCs already delivered, Xicom has just increased the options available to service providers and integrators with two certified Falcon Ka-band solutions from a high-volume manufacturer of the highest airborne quality and reliability.

The Highest Power Ka-band TWT Amplifier Available for GEO Earth Stations

Comtech Xicom Technology has ramped up the available output power of our Ka-Band product line with a new 650W peak power, TWTA for satellite gateway applications. This amplifier offers 30% more power than the previous high-power standard 500W Ka-band amplifier in the same package and features 215W of linear power at -19 dB Noise Power Ratio (NPR) for higher data rates and bandwidth efficiency in GEO satcom links.
